What is that beverage in the foreground there, you might ask. Still not sure ourselves. A 'beergarita' they called it. But if you are at all familiar with physics, you may be able to guess that the beer pretty much stayed in it's bottle until the margarita was gone, unless you decided to help it out yourself, which just felt wrong. Any ideas here people?

New table

I had this great idea to put a little table in the girls room, in hopes that our dining table may cease to be constantly covered with a large pile of art in various stages of completion. So far so good, they love it. And our living room is that much less cluttered. WIN!

Coloring contest winners!

Haven won her first coloring contest! We are so proud! She won a five dollar gift certificate from Value Village, and she got a new pair of silver shoes and a jean jacket. She reports that she has always wanted a jean jacket, and she is very excited.

And here I am, when I won my first (and probably only) coloring contest. I think getting my picture in the local paper was the only prize.
