Every mother knows what I mean when I say 'things got too quiet.' This morning at our house here is why:
the baby got lip glossed.

Another quiet and happy moment. I put Audrey in Haven's bed for a minute while I attended to some laundry, and Haven mounded her stuffed animals all around her sister. Audrey LOVED it.

Haven spent a good deal of the day playing in her new playhouse, which is fashioned from a large box that my water machine was shipped to us in. She has painted it purple with tempera paint (yay tempura!) and it has a real door, a trap door, some peeping holes, a window with a curtain and a skylight. The roof isn't quite finished yet. Personally, I think we need to do an addition.
