Michigan Christmas 2010

This year we spent Christmas in Michigan with the Sorgen family. It was a nice relaxing trip with lots of good food and good time spent with family we don't get to see nearly enough.

Haven got to open her first present a few days early. It was boots!

This is the best picture we could get of all three as Audrey was about at her fun limit. Haven and her cousins Sylvie and Melina get along famously and had so much fun spending time together!

One of Haven's favorite things about visiting her Nana is Nana's makeup table/vanity. Since we were on vacation Haven was allowed to start each day by 'putting on her face.' At home she's not allowed to wear makeup, only lip gloss and nail polish.

Getting our yearly Christmas tree is fun

Haven wanted to be the one to choose it. So we let her, kind of. When we had convinced her this was the tree for us, she hugged it.

Thanksgiving

We took the train to Montana. It snowed in Montana the entire time we were there, and it was that beautiful floating snow.

Audrey got cranky on the train ride home. Thankfully a SHORT train ride home! It was a fun trip, despite the lack of photographic evidence.

F is for Ferocious

She makes dinosaur noises all the time and will attack you with fists of fury. She's a ferocious baby, you better watch out! Seriously, Audrey is a very ferocious precocious little girl.

"Mama, Audrey is just following me around trying to do whatever I do." Get used to it I told her, that's what little sisters do! Haven is getting very frustrated and I can't help but be amused.

Another Bus Trip

Driving the bus places seems easier than ever so we decided to load up more friends and drive out to Cloud Mountain Farm for their yearly Fall Festival.
The look in their eyes is because they are about to be dished up some donuts!
Live music = dancing.
The apples were SOOOOO yummy.
Sisters like to be dressed the same. "I'd rather have a whole pumpkin to myself than be crowded on a velvet cushion." Or in this case, have a GIANT pumpkin to share with my best friend...
